Gothic Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. Built after that Tarter invasion of 1241, this is the fourth structure built on this site since the year 1000 AD. It was the first entirely gothic style construction built in Poland. Largely destroyed in WWII it was reconstructed between 1946 and 1991.
